Lisa Dusenbery is a writer, editor, and fact-checker. Formerly managing editor of The Rumpus and communications manager at AA|LA Gallery, she currently freelances for publishers, organizations, and individuals. 

Her nonfiction writing has appeared in McSweeney’s Internet Tendency; The Sequoia Grove Journal; and Witness Magazine, where her essay “The Things We Name” was selected as runner-up for the 2022 Witness Literary Award in nonfiction.
